As Anglicans, our worship is rooted in the Book of Common Prayer. Throughout the Anglican Communion there is a similarity in worship due to the heritage we share with the Church of England. And yet there is the freedom to adapt the worship style to meet the needs of the culture which we minister. At Christ our King we offer a traditional and contemporary style of worship at two different services.
At 8:00 a.m. we use the traditional Rite 1 of the Book of Common Prayer. We supplement our worship with hymns and occasionally choral music songs of praise.
At 10:30 a.m. we use the contemporary Rite II, singing a mix of hymns and songs of praise. We alternate between the use of the organ and our Praise Team at this service each Sunday. The first Sunday of the month is all praise music
