Christ our King is a growing community of Christians who live out our Faith within the tradition of classical Anglicanism. The worldwide Anglican Communion, with 70+million members in 163 countries is comprised of a number of national member churches.  Each national structure or province in the Communion is an independent, self-governing body in fellowship with the Church of England, our “mother” church. We are an historic church, with roots tracing back to the Apostles of Jesus Christ. This continuity is witnessed to through the ministry of bishops who oversee dioceses, which are a community of geographically linked local churches.

The Faith taught by Anglicans is the Christian Faith as passed down through the centuries from the ancient and undivided Church. Nothing we teach should be peculiar to us as Anglicans. Christian doctrine, as taught in our tradition, must conform to three criteria: Scripture, Tradition, and Reason. Anglicans must grow in their knowledge of the Bible, understanding it in light of the traditions, history and understanding of the Church through the centuries. No Anglican priest is to teach anything contrary to biblical doctrine, and no Anglican is required to believe anything except what is revealed in the Bible.

Christ our King is currently a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion by virtue of our membership in The Anglican Communion Network which is a North American jurisdiction of churches in affiliation with orthodox archbishops.
